Comments: Lady Karyn Auff Gilbert is her name. Everyone got to put a name in. My son named her Lady, I put in the Karyn, My daughter (two at the time) could only call her Auff, and My husband said yep she's a Gilbert. So hence the name. She is four years old. She has never been a terror like some people say their Cairns are. She is a great bed warmer and sleeps on the pillow with me. I can't imagine life without her. She is so wonderful.

Comments: Enjoyed your site,Charlie behaves very well inside, but outside he forgets who I am and is deaf to his name. He is also larger than I thought he would be 21lbs.Looks like your Murdo.

Comments: why is your web-page on the bagpipe web-site? is it because your related to the author? hats kool if ya' are.well bye, nice web-page!
Comments: I just have to tell you that I have been torturing Grady and Clancy with your sound clips. They come flying ffrom wherever, to sit in front of the computer, twisting their heads, and ocassionally giving little chuffs and rowls. This is too much fun!

Comments: We lost our cairn terrier about 6 months ago am looking for wheaton color terrier and a female. The most lovable and obident pet we ever had and we miss her dearly, a wonderful family pet. She was a black dog and 20 years old. Would prefer one about 1 yea old if we can find one. We will look at puppies also though. Enjoy the site. Thanks, Kathi
Comments: Please send me pictures of Cairn terriers
Comments: max will run away at every opportunity but we would not be without him hes also our 6 year old son's bestest friend.
Comments: Loved the sound bites. My Cairn "Tinker" sat and whinned in front of the speakers!
Comments: Hi, Beth. I had to check out your URL so that I could see your "boys." They are true sweeties! And they look HUGE! If I ever get my scanner set up again, I'll send pics of Lumpy and the late, wonderful Nelson. Megan (from the cairn list)

Comments: Since we've had Spunky, we've really had too stay on our toes. He's such an energetic little guy. Pearl wasn't to happy but now cleans and plays with him, just like Bos'n. Shadow teases him. I'm sure glad we have him. He's a bundle of love.

Comments: Beth, Enjoyed perusing your site. I was interested to see that you call yourself Cairn T, because that is what my car tag says. So if I get pulled over, I will just send them to you!!
Comments: I didn't think cairns got as big as murdo. I thought breed standard for cairns was 12 or 14 inches at the withers? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Murdo is about three times the size of our dogs. We have one female that is a little over breed standard if hat I thought standard is is correct. She looks more like a Skye Terrier. Don't get me wrong Murdo is a beautiful specimen of a cairn. I was just amazed at his size. LeannG

Comments: Our Cairn is 6 months old and she is very hard to train. I wonder if this is typical of the breed? She is very smart, but will have nothing to do with traditional discipline.
Comments: Hi Bethie! You signed my guestbook, and it occurred to me that I'd never signed yours, so now it's time. Geordie says hi to Geordie and Maggie says hi to Murdo and Geordie and Geordie says hi to Murdo. This gets confusing. Oh yes, cool page...
Comments: My wife and I are thinking of getting a Cairn Terrier. It looks like a fantastic breed. We don't want a show dog. We want a pet. I called a breeder in Northeren Illinois and the lady told me they were $1000.00. Are there any available that are lees expens ve?
Comments: Hi Beth, We have a wonderful little 8year old carin her name is sophie. She very politely runs our household.
Comments: Do you think my cairn will dig in the flower beds? Love your page!!! Jo

Comments: Great web site. We want one by the end of this month for our daughter's sixth birthday. She has always wanted a dog. We have narrowed our choice to this breed. My husband had wanted a gold lab that we could rescue but I think TOO BIG! What do you thi k? We are working with a reputable breeder (we hope) out of the Panhandle of Texas and hope to have a male by then. Any insight any of you have about our starting out please email us. April

Comments: Interested in meeting other people whom have an interest in Carin Terriers
Comments: Enjoyed reading about these cute little rag a muffins. Have always been very taken by them . Our OE sheep is getting on and we will probably look to have a smaller dog as it is much more manageable since the OE and myself are both getting on in years. T anks again for the great information it will certainly help make a knowledgeable decision. Joanne
Comments: It's so nice to find people that also have a cairn and that there is a forum to share ideas and ask questions. In Tennessee most ppl look @ Speck and ask if he is a Yorkie. Oh well at least they know he is a terrier.. :)
Comments: My family just lost our cairn terrier and we are looking for a puppy or adult for a pet! If you know where i can get one please contact me ASAP! I would greatly appreciate it! Amber

Comments: I have a 13-year old male Cairn who simply must live forever, for how would I ever do without him! He lost his mutt pal in February (16 yrs old) and is now an only dog...but what better than a Cairn to live independently?
Comments: Came in throught the Heartland Pet awards page to see your terrors, I mean terriers. :-) It is my Basenjis that are the terrors. Come over to our website, we have lots of imformation for animal owners there.
Comments: I enjoy Raw-Hide Chew-Eez, Hope I'm om your Mailing List!
Comments: I still can't get over how BIG Murdo is!!! Is he really a full-breed?
| Comments: Beth , I really love your web site. It is like walking down memory lane to look at your pictures. Your Geordie looks so much like my Munford(did) that it makes me want to pet the computer screen. Whenever I need a lift, I have your site bookmarked so I ca immediately zip to it and cheer up. I know that someday I will have another little cairn. He was so special . If you have any of your watercolor prints for sale, I would be interested in hearing from you. | Comments: We now have to keep the veggies fenced in. Last year there was a knockdown dragout fight over a cucumber. The girls were given a time out for that one. |
Comments: My two Cairns Pete (Brightridge Peter McGregor, wheaten) and Reggie (Brightridge Brigadier Reginald, red) were with me for fifteen and sixteen years, respectively. I miss them but am not quite ready for a new dog. I get my Cairn "fix" from the Cairn home page and links.
Comments: ^Not any more means that we lost our dog 16 yr. old Shep and Setter mix. We are intrested in a Cairn.
Comments: Hi to Geordie and Murdo the wonder dogs from your pal Squirt!
Comments: Your page is very pleasant and a lot of fun to look through! Email me sometime and please sign my guestbook. (My page doesn't really have anything to do with yours, but I always appreciate knowing who went there.)
Comments: Hi, We have already met on the cairn-list, am looking forward to our family meeting yours. Keep in touch. Love all your "goodies" on the net. Have just been fooling around on this for about a month or so.
